At Hole Lotta Doughnuts, we started our home-style bakery with the belief that sometimes it isn’t doing something better than anyone else, but doing it the proven, old-fashioned way. While most doughnuts are mass produced, with even neighborhood doughnut shops using automation and mechanical depositors, we decided against that in favor of not cutting corners to produce the largest, best tasting doughnuts to be found in the West Jefferson, North Carolina area. And guess what? Our doughnuts and fritters have exploded in popularity, to say the least, so we surmise that perhaps Ralph Waldo Emerson had the right idea.

We also decided that if we were to put exceptional effort into our doughnuts, we had to keep it simple. You won’t find a zillion types of doughnuts here – just chocolate and glazed. We always offer chocolate, regular glazed, and peanut butter dream glazes, and most days we have a special glaze flavor. You can also choose to dress up your doughnuts with free sprinkles.
